I would like to recommend the films of Erik Gandini and Johan Söderberg, in particular “Surplus: Terrorized into Being Consumers” from 2003. Gandini and Söderberg use striking visuals, spoken word, often in the form of interviews that are sampled with music to build powerful statements about the need to overthrow the present system.
