Why is there a Statue of the Slaver Robert Towns (1794–1873) in Townsville?
The mayor of Townsville Cr Jenny Hill has recently defended the placing of a statue of Robert Towns in the CBD of the city as part of the so-called ‘Pioneers Walk’.
